Vijana Vision Tanzania and Enactus KCL LightMountain we are implementing a clean cooking stoves project in Kisarawe (Sanze and Mzenga Villages) and Mkuyuni in Morogoro, The project aims at using an efficient, ecological and healthy method of cooking for beneficiaries, whilst providing them with a sustainable source of income through entrepreneurship schemes.
60 people have benefited from the project in Kisarawe Distict (33 people from Sanze Village and 27 from Mzenga Village). In March 2016 Enactus KCL LightMountain and Vijana Vision Tanzania we are expecting to reach 80 people in Mkuyuni Village in Morogoro through the use of clean cooking stoves, cooking will be a no-emission and smoke-free method and major health problems caused by traditional biomass and charcoal cooking will be eliminated.
